Natural hair care: Tips for chic work 'dos
Making sure you've got the perfect natural hair care style for work can be tricky – and when you're running late, it becomes a nightmare.
A beauty commentator has told natural hair care fans that looking well-groomed on the daily commute shouldn't be a daunting task, as long as you invest in some natural hair care basics.
Writing for Hollywood Life, Kristin Booker said that there are six styling fixes that every savvy woman should have on hand.
Anti-frizz gel will keep your hair smooth and tamed, while styling tools and a set of mini-straighteners will help you to create a professional, preened impression.
Ms Booker also said that a set of pony tail bobbles are great, as "a low ponytail always looks incredibly chic", and hair grips can be used "to whip hair into a quick up 'do or secure fringes during your growing-out phase".
Alternatively, Ms Booker suggested: "Take a cue from Gossip Girl’s Blair Waldorf: headbands are a fast way to instant style."
Last week, Marie Claire reported that a bob is a versatile style which can be teamed with any natural hair colour for a striking look.
