Natural hair care: Tips on maintaining a healthy barnett
Ensuring our hair is kept up to scratch and is looked after is something that always comes second to our natural beauty regimes, but according to a haircare specialist, we need to be giving our locks some TLC.
Ahalan Live reported that hair stylist to the stars Ben Skervin, who has worked with the Spice Girls, Ricky Martin and behind the scenes at the Oscars, told natural hair care fans that they should start at the foundation a healthy scalp.
"Next, be gentle with your hair when you're drying it. Lightly dry it with a towel or scrunch it. Don't rub it too much. You'll just end up damaging your hair," he suggested.
Mr Skervin told women to be gentle with their locks, when drying it not to rub too much and before using heat styling then protective spray is a must.
Some of the top styles currently on the catwalk and red carpet this season are the quiff, the summer crop as sported by Hayden Panettierre and red tints a favourite of Rihanna.
