Natural hair care trend: Ombre hair
Usually the prospect of long, dark roots sends a shiver down any natural hair care fans spine – but now stars are heading to salons in their droves and asking for ombre hair.
Hilary Duff is the latest in a line of celebrities embracing the style, Sugarscape reported.
Stepping out with long, wavy locks, the actress and singer sported a dramatic two-tone natural hair colour.
Adding ombre to your 'do is more than just growing your roots out, with the aim being to have a gently transition from dark to light.
As a result, the craze is best suited to long hair styles, as people with shorter lengths will struggle to give the two colours prominence without a harsh break in shades.
Earlier this week, Saks hair specialist Alison Dace suggested that plaits and curls are ideal for Christmas party hair styling, as they are an easy way to transform your look.
