Natural hair care trends: Autumn curls
If you're looking for ways to stay on trend for next season, then it's all about perfecting the loose curls style, according to the natural hair care gurus.
Beauty news provider WalletPop recently spoke to some of the top hair stylists to find out what's hot and what's not when autumn and winter come around, and next season screams soft and textured locks.
Aubrey Loots, owner and creative director of Studio DNA in Los Angeles, told the news provider that this natural hair care trend takes more than just a quick curl with straighteners, but the cut can make a difference too.
"The best way to get the wavy trend is to cut lengths anywhere from medium to long ... the length keeps the hair just heavy enough to hold the wavy [look] and also perfectly shows off the style," she commented.
Celebrity hairstylist Billy Lowe added that the trend is about looking carefree and unstructured, but above all, "volume, volume, volume" is a must-have.
Volume was also the topic of the month with Elle – whether you're hair is set to be down, braided or in a chic updo, the bigger the better.
