Natural hair care: Updos are in for stars
Fans of natural hair care who want to keep up with the latest glamorous look to emerge from the red carpet this season should opt for a dramatic updo as a host of stars have gone for the towering style.
Female beauties such as Leighton Meester, Drew Barrymore, Hayden Panettiere and Cat Deeley were all snapped at the Emmy Awards with high hair and Look.co.uk says the style can be created through five simple steps.
It states: "The four A-list ladies swapped their high maintenance hair regime for a low-key messy do as they posed for photographs at the Emmy Awards."
The website recommends women start by washing their hair and leaving it to dry naturally. That should be followed by adding volumising mousse to ends and backcombing before loosely tying hair into a ponytail, before pinning it into an undone bun.
In other natural hair care news, supermodel Agyness Deyn has recently caused a stir by ditching her peroxide locks for a raven black bob cut.
