Natural hair care: Using right products is vital
Fans of natural hair care should make sure they are using the correct products for their particular hair type, according to one expert, who said making the wrong choice can undo previous good work.
Hair stylist Frederic Fekkai told the Associated Press that women should go through a detailed routine if they are to get the most out of their hairdo and retain it throughout the day.
Curly hair can be controlled by mousse and gel, according to the expert who said that some people heat their hair too excessively with dryers and instead should leave it to dry naturally.
He said: "You want to keep it from getting flat. You want to go backward, forward, upward, downward - the idea is to create a good cushion of hair."
Akin Konizi, British hairdresser of the year, told the Metro recently that there will be no escaping over-the-top tresses as we go into the winter months with 80s styles re-emerging in the last few months.
