Natural hair dye 'is brilliant for instant transformation'
Natural hair dye is one of the best ways to quickly update your look, as it can "instantly transform" your appearance.
Danielle Lineker, writing for the Daily Mirror, pointed out that a number of celebrities have hit the colour bottle in recent weeks.
Kate Beckinsale has overhauled her style by switching her brunette locks for a dramatic, honey-hued mane, while Katie Holmes took her chesnut-brown hair to a darker chocolate shade.
However, Danielle advised that ladies should be mindful of their skin tone when choosing what natural hair colour to use.
"The general rule when dying your hair is that you should never go more than two shades lighter than your natural shade," she explained.
"If you have pale skin and brown hair then consider going lighter. If you go too dark you risk washing yourself out and looking older."
Danielle added that those daring to go a dramatic blonde should make an appointment with their local salon.
Last week, Zeena Moolla from Your Hair magazine noted that women want natural hair care styles with "personality" this spring.
