Organic and natural hair care products 'must be used to prevent damage'
Sun damage can be a major problem with people's hair care, organic and natural hair care product advocate Don Bewley claims.
An experienced hairdresser, he says that this sort of exposure can lead to fading in the same way that clothes can react to a strong light source.
"The sun's UVA and UVB rays fade hair colour faster on persons with greater outdoor exposure, especially during the summer," he states.
Ocean water and air exposure are also problems that face those enjoying time by the sea, as this can lead to oxidisation, colour fading and the creation of free radicals.
Among the organic and natural hair care products he advises are an item that can provide sun protection, a detox shampoo which can remove environmental pollutants and moisturising treatments.
Earlier this month, natural and organic skincare champion Tara Smith was voted Celebrity Hairdresser of the Year at The Clothes Show Style Awards.
