Plaiting is latest natural hair care trend
Ladies looking for the latest natural hair care trend should start learning how to plait their locks.
Plaiting is the big look to come to fashion shows this year and experts say it can be adapted for everyday as well as more formal eveningwear.
Professional hairdresser Sam McKnight told Hello! magazine that he used the look in Jaeger's spring/summer show at London Fashion week, adding that French plaits are the perfect natural hair care look this season.
The rest of the hair should be slicked back with natural hair care products, to make the plait stand out.
Gossip Girl Blake Lively has recently adopted the trend, having one long braid down her back, which Look magazine described as a "low-maintenance hairstyle".
Ladies who have not perfected their plaiting skills do not need to worry, as wisps coming out of a braid are all part of the look.
The magazine's final bit of advice is to use natural hair care products, like hairspray, to secure the top part of the hair in place.
