Post-winter natural hair care 'essential' for healthy spring locks
Winter will play havoc with your locks, meaning that a thorough natural hair care routine is vital to prepare your mane for spring.
Zeena Moolla, acting editor at Your Hair magazine, said that the huge changes in temperature, as we step from freezing air to centrally-heated office "takes more of a toll than most people realise".
She added: "The general manic nature of the festive season means we often over-style our hair but can't find the time to nourish it afterwards."
In order to bring your locks back to their best, use a clarifying product, followed up by an extra-moisturisng natural shampoo and conditioning hair masque, Ms Moolla suggested – and take a trip to the salon to get rid of any split ends.
Once your hair is supple and manageable again, you can look forward to this season's hottest trends.
Last month, celebrity stylist Mark Hill said that soft, sexy waves and plaits, braids and weaves will be big news this spring.
