Retro Mad Men-inspired styles key natural hair care trend
Retro styles are set to be a key trend in natural hair care this season, emulating the classic, ladylike ensembles seen on the catwalks, according to expert Jonathan Long.
Mr Long, co-founder of the Lockonego boutique salon and spa, said the trend is inspired by the women from the hit TV show Mad Men who all sport "super feminine, luxe, glamorous waves".
"Retro hair will continue to be popular as it allows you to re-affirm your sex appeal and femininity, regardless of the ever-changing trends in fashion, especially as androgyny and masculine lines have also made an impact of late," he added.
Stars who have already been spotted sporting a vintage 'do include Kelly Osbourne, Jessica Szohr and Lily Allen, the latter of which recently wore her hair styled in a "retro bouffant" at Paris Fashion Week, Look Magazine reported.
However, for the epitome of "off-duty" celeb glam, natural hair care fans should look no further than Paloma Faith, who completed her retro look with a printed headscarf.
