Straight in is for natural hair care fans
Women who want to show off their natural beauty have been told that straight hair is going to be this autumn's fashion trend.
Ted Gibson, a natural hair care styling expert, recently told Elle.com that the summer look of tousled, air-dried beach waves is on its way out, to be replaced by straightened locks.
He highlighted this by picking out a number of examples which he created for the Vena Cava and J Mendel autumn shows.
"To maintain movement and volume, iron more hair at a time, versus less. The finer the sections, the flatter your results will be," said Mr Gibson.
Advice on straightened natural hair care was also given by hairdresser Garren, which told the new source that creating a parting first, before drying the hair and then using a pressing iron to straighten it was the best way of achieving the look.
However, the straight look could have to battle against the quaff, according to celebrity hair stylist Adam Reed, who told Elle that the style is back in fashion.
