Top knots are big natural hair style
Women looking for a new hair style could take inspiration from the catwalks of Paris and London, according to one newspaper, which said that top knots are the in thing.
The Sun reported that Yves Saint Laurent and designer Marc Jacobs have used the style and stars like Victoria Beckham, Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lopez have also used it to complete their look.
"If you have long, thick hair, section it off and make two ponytails because one heavy tail will not be tight enough to give the sleek effect," it stated.
The newspaper added that to complete the hairdo, women should apply wet look gel and comb it through to get the slick look.
In other news, the 1980s will be inspiring hairdos this autumn and winter, according to the Metro, which said stars of the decade like David Bowie and Grace Jones will be the blueprint for styles in 2009.
