Use natural haircare to shave the years off
People do not need to invest in cosmetic surgery to shave the years off their looks, as a few snips and some natural hair care can give them a lift.
Pamela Rose, 62, was given a makeover in the Daily Mail, with an expert hairdresser using her locks to give her a youthful boost.
The Fulham resident said that she has her hair cut every six weeks but has had the same style for years, which she finds hard to maintain.
However, haircare expert Michel Dindoyal said that a few snips here and there can take years off naturally, adding that Ms Rose's current cut has a lot of weight around the crown which makes it look dated.
He added silvery highlights to her hair to create a "younger and funkier look".
Ms Rose told the newspaper: "I feel younger and trendier, but love the fact it is still a manageable style."
Natural hair care fans should adopt long tresses this year, as Cos Sakkas, international artistic director at TONI&GUY, said it is a key look for 2010.
