Windswept natural hair styles are en vogue
Fans of natural hair care wanting to capture the latest trends should ensure they opt for waves, curls and windswept locks, according to one expert.
Indira Schauwecker, TONI&GUY artistic director, said that styles which incorporate curls and kinks are popular at the moment and make the most of natural features.
"The effect is an embrace of natural textures of hair, worked with the right products to enhance curls, waves and kinks. It is not about looking permed at all and more about looking beautifully care-free and windswept," she said.
Ms Schauwecker added that fishtail plaits are popular but need a bit more hard work to pull off when compared to the wavy styles.
Another look that celebrities such as Claire Danes, Ashley Olsen, Alexa Chung, Laura Bailey and Olivia Palermo donned was the simple undone updos, which they all wore at the ELLE Style Awards.
