Rustic vs sleek: Natural hair care styles for AW2011
Natural hair care styles will be drawn along lines of rustic and sleek later in the year, according to Nicky Hambleton-Jones.
The fashion and beauty expert at Lookandfeelyounger.tv commented that this year's autumn/winter 2011 catwalk shows had presented some "really exciting and interesting trends" in both fashion and beauty.
Tailoring, prints and glamour will dominate the high street, with a style to suit all, she explained.
Commenting on the coiffures sported by the models, Ms Hambleton-Jones said: "Beautifully crafted rustic hairstyles complemented the heavy prints and fabrics, while sleek ponytails looked fantastic with the minimal, masculine shapes."
She added: "Hair accessories will also be big news next season, with scarves added to voluminous up-do's by Lockonego at Eun Jeong."
Earlier this week, Vogue reported that the catwalks embraced a 1960s natural makeup look across the fashion weeks, from the bright-eyed and flawless style of the earlier years of the decade to a more boho-infused effect.
