Boost your makeup bag with colour this spring
Ladies should use the spring to rejuvenate their natural beauty collection, incorporating lilacs and pinks into their makeup bag.
The Norwich Evening News said that people should make sure that they change their natural beauty products with the seasons, rather than keeping the same look all year-round.
Makeup expert Emma Harrowing told the newspaper that ladies need to start with a good base, which matches skin tone well. It should then be set with loose powder.
Regarding this season's trends, she said that a pale pink should be used on the cheeks, while eyes can take a mid-brown shade, applied in a backwards C shape, followed by lilac.
"Complete the eyes with charcoal grey eye liner along the top and bottom lash line close to the lashes," she added.
The Daily Telegraph recently recommended corals and pinks as the top shades for spring. Jane Cullen, writing for the newspaper, suggested that people inject some colour into their makeup bags.
