Brides should trial their wedding makeup
Fans of organic skin care who are getting married should give their makeup a trial run before the big day as their tastes could change in the build up, according to one expert.
Makeup artist Ariane Poole said at the National Wedding Show that doing a run through six weeks before the wedding day is the ideal time because any longer away from the event and the climate may change.
She said: "Do the trial about six weeks before the wedding. I know brides want everything planned in advance, but the reason why you should do your trial a little bit before the wedding is because your tastes may change."
The expert added that if women are getting married abroad in a hot destination like the Bahamas then the makeup they need to use will be different from brides tying the knot in the UK.
According to Mintel, six out of ten women surveyed in all countries reported no change in their beauty buying habits.
