Bronze shades predicted as 2012 makeup trend
Ladies looking to embrace the 2012 beauty trends may want to invest in natural makeup in bronze shades, as this is said to be a big hit in the summer.
According to Jules Cardozo-Marsh, makeup artist at JulesCardozoMarsh.com, the warmer months of the year will see "cool, gunmetal bronze highlighters" come into their own.
She claimed the colours will replace "shimmering golds and warming bronzes", with fashion-forward women instead opting for "an edgy and modern take on the bronzed goddess".
Ms Cardozo-Marsh recommended applying the product to cheekbones, eyelid and brow bone to create defined contours, before completing the look with nude lips and black mascara.
For an evening look, ladies were advised to define eyebrows and highlight upper and lower lash lines with a dark-grey eyeliner.
It was also noted by Ms Cardozo-Marsh that matte honeysuckle and hot pink lips have proven popular on the catwalks for summer 2012.
