Choose matte natural makeup for daytime wear
There are so many natural cosmetics available on the market, sometimes it can be tricky to choose from the countless different colours, let alone texture and finish!
Paula Begoun, skin care expert and author of Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me, told readers of the San Diego Entertainer that it's helpful to consider when you will wear the product you're buying.
For daytime wear, it's best to choose matte natural blusher and eye shadow, she advised.
"Generally, for daytime makeup, a blush with a matte finish or just a hint of sheen works best. Shinier makeup is best reserved for evening use or special occasions," Ms Begoun said.
She added that selecting the right tools for the job – comments that have been echoed by Sinead Van Kampen, writing for the Irish Independent.
Ms Van Kampen said that investing in natural makeup applicators is the best way to ensure that you get the most out of your products.
