Choose red natural lipstick for a bold pout
When it comes to choosing a natural lipstick colour this summer, we ought to be following the catwalk's delectable display of dazzling hues.
Makeup artist Sarah Jagger believes that the current colour popping trend is "all about experimenting" – and what better way to do that then with a daring dash of something vibrant on the lips.
"If it's bold lips you're after, choose from oranges, fuchsias or reds and choose lipsticks that are densely pigmented. Matte, gloss and anything in between works this season," she added.
Offering a word of caution, however, Ms Jagger warned us not to overdo it. Bright colours work best on the eyes and lips - but not simultaneously - she explained.
Writing for the Daily Telegraph last week, beauty expert Kate Shapland urged readers to enter the colour blocking fray by experimenting with blue eye shadow.
Ladies can easily create an intense look by applying the right amount of periwinkle, cobalt or turquoise to their lids, she suggested.
