Christina Aguilera tones down her natural makeup
Christina Aguilera is known for her dramatic natural makeup look, inspired by the 1950s pin-ups and burlesque stars.
But the singer and actress, who is currently appearing as a coach on US talent show The Voice, braved the flashbulbs this weekend with an altogether more toned-down style.
Stepping out with boyfriend Matthew Rutler, Christina ditched her red lipstick and signature eye liner in favour for a more laid-back silver eye shadow and mascara effect.
The Burlesque actress also appeared to have a warmer complexion than her china-white skin days earlier and chose a soft-pink colour to round the look off.
However, Christina may need to give her hair some TLC, as her trademark platinum blonde locks and extensions looked a little frazzled, as they were pulled back into an on-trend ponytail.
Recently, a number of celebrities have ditched their usual colour in favour of fiery hues – including Blake Lively, Mandy Moore and Drew Barrymore.
