Colour pop natural makeup 'about experimenting'
The high street is awash with colour this season, from head to toe – so adding some eye-popping shades to your natural makeup will keep you bang on trend.
But if you're going to attempt this look, you have to be willing to take some risks and play around with the effects, an expert has said.
Sarah Jagger, makeup artist at beautyexpert.tv, explained: "Colour popping is all about experimenting and anything goes."
She suggested that a failsafe way to make the style work is by sticking to striking tones on either the eye or the lip.
"Try using a bright yellow eyeshadow on the inner corners of the eyelid or vivid turquoise applied to the top of the lash line," Ms Jagger advised.
Earlier this week, the Indepedent reported that animal-print inspired cosmetics are roaring into the limelight this season, with the launch of Dolce & Gabanna's Animalier range, which has a leopard-print bronzer as its centrepiece.
