Concealer described as great for disguising colds
Natural concealer could be a beauty must-have for women this winter as cold and flu season leads to blotchy skin pigmentation.
The product is ideal for disguising red noses caused by excessive blowing and can reduce tell-tale signs of illness.
Writing for the Stir, Lindsay Mannering urged individuals to "add some colour back into your face" to avoid looking washed out.
Los Angeles stylist Allison Dickerson described in an interview with WebMD how it is best to avoid "heavy makeup" as it will "look cakey".
Instead, loose powder blush can brighten features, while a hint of lip colour will help disguise a cold.
Washing hair or using dry shampoo to freshen locks was recommended by both women as a good way to make ladies both feel and look better.
Symptoms of a common cold include a stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, a cough, mild fever, tiredness and a sore throat.
