Concealer for your legs – a new natural makeup trend?
Natural foundation and concealer are for your face, right? Well, usually – but a new natural makeup trend from the east could see ladies opting for organic cosmetics to cover their legs.
The Straits Times reported that one member of Korean pop group Girls' Generation recently admitted that they earned their nickname – Beautiful Legs – by relying on natural makeup to cover any blemishes and imperfections.
"We conceal pimples and also our legs. We're more sensitive about our legs than our faces," Yuri said while on tour in Japan.
It's possible that this trend could catch on elsewhere in the world, with national trainer at Singapore's Makeup Forever, Liza Haron, revealing that more and more girls are reaching for their natural cosmetics instead of tights when their legs are on display.
"We do have more customers these days, who do apply make-up to their legs. Often it is because ... they want their legs to look perfect," she explained.
Whether or not you're not sold on swapping your 60 denier for natural concealer, makeup artist Alice Theobald has reminded everyone of the importance of using a brush to apply makeup, for a smooth finish.
