Cream-formula natural blusher 'perfect for spring'
If you're looking for a new item of natural makeup to invest in, an expert has suggested that you can't go far wrong with cream-formula natural blusher.
As we move into the warmer months, our sun-starved skin can sometimes need a helping hand to look fresh and glowing, which can be achieved with a touch of colour to the cheeks.
Makeup artist Daniel Sandler explained: "Cream blushers are perfect for spring, giving you a dewy, romantic look."
In terms of application, Mr Sandler told Daily Telegraph readers: "Never apply to the underside of cheekbones ... Instead use your fingertips to apply it to the apples of your cheeks, then blend up and outwards towards the hairline."
The effect is in keeping with the trend for soft pastels, which was demonstrated on the spring/summer 2011 catwalks.
For a soft, flirtatious look, keep your complexion flawless with a touch of natural foundation, delicately define your eyes with natural eye liner and select a rose-pink natural lip colour.
