Cream natural eye shadow is making a comeback
The latest disco trends have seen a surge in popularity for cream natural eye shadow, according to professional makeup artist Jemma Kidd.
Writing for the Daily Mail, Ms Kidd said that there were numerous benefits to using the combination product, which is a consistency between powder and liquid.
Products are long-lasting once set and do not require applicators or brushes to apply, she explained.
Ms Kidd added: "Thanks to its creamy, slippery texture, it's easy to create a soft, flattering finish with no hard edges. It is also easier to create a subtle, sheer effect because cream shadows are so easily blended."
For a daytime look, the expert suggested nudes, such as beige, shell or peach, with browns and taupes used to create definition.
Meanwhile, for a night out on the town, layer darker shades over each other to create a metallic finish.
Last week, the Daily Mail reported that bold natural lipstick is another big spring makeup trend.
