Diets are not everything, Bowman
One of the UK's most well-loved female DJs has spoken about her desire to not become trapped by fad diets, according to one newspaper.
The Daily Mail reported that Edith Bowman said although she has become more sensitive about her body since giving birth to her son 16 months ago she has no intention of going on a diet.
She said: "Wrinkles don't bother me and I'll be happy to grow old gracefully. It's hard for me to say I'll never have Botox as I'm not at the stage in my life where I need it yet ... I think you lose part of your identity [after cosmetic surgery]."
Ms Bowman added that her skin is sensitive and sucks moisture out of the air, which could interest those considering changing their natural makeup.
Kirsty Jewson, Saks beauty guru, said that people with acne-prone skin need to make sure that they eat the right kind of foods, especially if they want to feel confident enough about their skin to wear less makeup.
