Dolce & Gabbana use natural style makeup
One of the largest fashion brands in the world has started to send its models down the runway with makeup which looks natural and not too perfect, according to one expert.
Pat McGrath told Allure about her top trends to emerge from the Milan catwalks and said that Dolce & Gabbana (D&G) have opted to style their models with less than perfect makeup.
She said: "[D&G's style is] meant to look like the girl did her own makeup and now it's slightly worn off, so we're not making it too perfect. If the liner looks too perfect, mess it up a little bit."
The makeup artist added that beautiful lashes are an essential part of the new style.
Pat McGrath recently told the Irish Independent that using a brush is the best way to achieve a flawless finish when applying foundation, saying that using fingers can produce results that are not as professional-looking.
