Edgy trends are vital to standing out this winter
Fans of natural makeup should be a bit risqué this season and go for some of the more out-there trends which have emerged in recent months, according to one expert.
Beautician Mickey Williams told ABC that dark lips, smoky eyes and rock n roll hairstyles are all on-trend at the moment and give women the chance to try something a little different this winter.
"Even though the shade is dark, it doesn't mean it has to make lips appear smaller. Go for a long wear gloss or balm and find one that doesn't settle in the grooves," she told the news provider.
The expert added that women should make sure their skin is well hydrated as we head into the winter months as it can become dried out and look tired.
Pixie Lott recently spoke about the importance of not feeling inadequate because of airbrushed images of celebrities, because they are not natural.
