Ensure your natural makeup products go the distance
Few women have mastered the art of a minimalist natural makeup bag; whether it be a penchant for expensive natural lipstick or a desire for eye shadow every colour of the rainbow, most women have more cosmetics than they could get through in a lifetime.
However, you may not realise it, but the natural makeup palette which you daren't even tell your partner about because of how much it cost could be rendered unusable by incorrect storage.
Cosmetic products which are kept away from sunlight, heat and humidity will go the distance, a commentator for the Bangalore Mirror said.
The writer explained: "Exposing [makeup] to sunlight and heat deteriorates the formulation of cosmetics and breaks down the moisture and essential oils/pigments that hold it together."
A useful tip is to sort your items into types of formulation – for example, powder, liquid and cream-based – as different types of cosmetic bases will benefit from different treatment.
Yesterday, Models Direct advised natural makeup fans to choose some bright, bold shades, such as reds or oranges, or flirty, feminine pastels, in order to perk up their winter look.
