Eyeliner flick noted as hot makeup trend
Ladies looking to update their beauty regime may want to have their natural eyeliner at the ready, as one expert has claimed dramatic eyes are this season's hottest makeup trend.
In an interview with STV, No7 consultant Sam Grieve explained how adding a flick at the end of the eye is the best way to achieve "a sexy, sultry look that’s perfect for during the day or nights out".
To develop the look, women were advised to draw along the lash line using a brush dipped in dark eye shadow so there is a guide.
The next step is to apply the liner as close to the upper-eyelid lashes as possible, finishing with a curved flick that is slightly thicker towards the outer edges of the eye.
Ms Grieve noted that stars such as X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos and Teenage Dream singer Katy Perry are all fans of the look.
