Fashion world 'embraces truly natural beauty'
Some of the world's biggest celebrities and fashion icons are embracing natural looks that use minimal makeup, according to one magazine.
The look is praised by the Local which said that heavy use of cosmetics is going out of style.
Public support for natural beauty seems to be in line with the magazine world's view after the French version of ELLE produced its most successful issue by putting Monica Bellucci, Sophie Marceau and Eva Herzigova on the cover wearing little or no makeup.
The emergence of new fashion icons like Beth Ditto, who has a fuller, more natural figure, compared to most models is also highlighted by the magazine as showing that natural beauty is more popular now.
It stated: "I think the French ELLE that featured the top models without makeup was such a success because people wanted to know if the models were really as beautiful as they always thought."
In other natural beauty news, Sandra Bullock revealed her beauty regime only takes eight minutes each morning.
