Green eyes will be creating envy this spring
Fans of natural makeup trying to keep up with the latest spring trends could use green eyeshadow, according to one expert, who said the look is getting more popular.
Fashion makeup artist Pat McGrath told ELLE.com that the green-eyed look was all over the Issa Spring show this year and she believes emerald shades go well with black.
"McGrath finished the layered look with a touch of gold along the inner corners, a dash of turquoise on the outer edges and 'lots of mascara'," the magazine stated.
The makeup artist added that the style was inspired by tropical storms and lush-coloured jungles, and adventurous fans of natural makeup could even have a go at the style themselves.
Amy Boyd, a professional makeup artist and graduate of School of Make-Up, recently said that the gothic look is now en vogue and women could opt for darker eyes to complete the style.
