High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens 'a natural beauty'
One of the female stars of High School Musical said that she relied on makeup too heavily in her early teens and only became confident in her own skin after embracing natural beauty.
Vanessa Hudgens spoke to Glamour magazine about her over-indulgence in cosmetics and lack of skin confidence at an early age.
She told the magazine: "I thought I looked horrible so I tried to hide everything with makeup. Now, I actually feel prettier without makeup sometimes. I guess when you grow up, you get more confident."
Fans of natural skin care maybe interest to know that Hudgens described herself as the "runt" of her class and since ditching her excessive makeup regime she feels more confident in her own skin.
Another teen star who is embracing natural beauty is Hilary Duff, who was recently spotted by CelebrityGossip.net leaving a west Hollywood gym sporting the toned down style.
