How to customise looks with natural makeup this spring
There are ways that people can use their natural makeup to customise their looks this spring, according to makeup artist Diana Carreiro.
She recommended, in a piece for the Vancouver Sun, opting for a hue that contrasts with the natural eye colour to get the "popping eye" look.
Ms Carreiro suggested those with blue eyes to go for neutral brown shadows to achieve this particular appearance, but navy, pewter and vivacious purples also work well.
For people with brown eyes, they appear to be in luck, as they look good in practically any shade, but purples and khaki green are "a safe bet".
"Lips and cheeks are a natural pair this season - you can use the same lipstick or 'stain' product for both lip and cheek colour," Ms Carreiro also recommended in her article.
Fashion makeup artist Pat McGrath recently told ELLE.com that green eyeshadow is becoming increasingly popular, so natural makeup users may want to combine this with Ms Carreiro's recommendations.
