How to wear bright natural eye shadow
Bright shades are everywhere this season, but natural makeup fans may be a bit apprehensive about applying shocking hues.
Never fear, as some simple tips will keep your natural eye shadow colour popping and the rest of your complexion flawless.
Tom Pecheux, makeup artist at Estee Lauder, told the Daily Telegraph that while striking shadow looks amazing, it can appear to weaken with wear.
He explained: "It can be difficult to wear lively shades around the eye as they tend to dull on the lid. Solve this by applying a little matte white shadow around the colour - it will make the bright shade really 'pop'."
If you're looking for a softer way to wear vivid colours around your peepers, professional artist Thomas de Kluyver suggested using a daring shade of natural mascara, such as plum or green, to refresh your natural cosmetic look.
Last week, Stylist reported that smoky eyes are still a mainstay for this season.
