How to wear red natural eye shadow this Christmas
Red natural eye shadow is a big trend this winter, but some natural makeup fans may feel nervous about donning the shade.
Never fear, ladies – here's some easy ways to incorporate the colour into your festive styling without looking bleary-eyed or resembling a Christmas bauble!
Suparna Chakraborty advised OneIndia.in readers that ruby and scarlet hues are perfect to finish off your party look this year.
Mixing your chosen shade with another one, such as gold, will enable you to blend it into a copper colour and give more depth to the finish of your eye makeup, Ms Chakraborty said.
"Keep the red darker on the inside of the eye lid and use the golden [shadow] on the edges," she advised. "This will highlight the shape of your eyes, make your eye makeup festive and match well with the party mood."
If you'd rather keep the red away from your peepers, put on some scarlet natural lipstick and you may well find you have more male attention!
The Daily Mail recently reported that scientists at Manchester University have found a man's gaze is drawn to a woman's lips – especially if they're got a slick of red gloss on.
