Invest in good brushes to get the most from your natural makeup
We all love new natural makeup products, like this season's must-have eye shadow or a new shade of organic lipstick, but are you guilty of neglecting your brushes?
Sinead Van Kampen, writing for the Irish Independent, said that while splashing the cash on applicators isn't as appealing as the natural blusher that you've had your eye on, it's an essential investment to get the best out of your products.
She explained: "Well looked-after, good brushes do offer a good return since make-up will be quicker and easier to apply, your finished look will be more natural and you'll have more control ... You may [also] find that your favourite products go that much further."
Ms Van Kampen added that brushes made from natural fibres are preferable to synthetic ones, as they tend to be of better quality.
Makeup tools should also fit comfortably in your hand and be soft to the touch.
