Invest in natural makeup brushes to stay hygienic
Natural eye liner is placed in the rims of our lids, natural lipstick is subconsciously licked off and foundation sits on our skin all day – but when did you last think about how hygienic your application methods and storage are?
Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Pong Nui, associate makeup artist at MAC Cosmetics, said that there are some natural makeup sins that we often commit without thinking.
Natural foundation shouldn't be applied with dirty fingers and we shouldn't lick our hardened eyebrow pencil to soft it, but we often do.
Ms Nui suggested: "Having good makeup tools will always give you the best results. I always suggest to women to buy good brushes even if they are not professional makeup artists."
In terms of storage, she added: "Always remember to keep your makeup in a cool dry place. Clean the sponges after every use. "
Earlier this week, beauty writer/expert Zara Rabinowicz advised that natural face exfoliator is the best way to get your complexion spring-ready.
