Julian Macdonald showcases natural beauty look
Natural beauty has been showcased on the runway at the Julian Macdonald show, with a number of designers plumping for minimal makeup on their models.
Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, who did the models at the Macdonald show, said: "We want the girls to look clean, like there's no makeup. It's simply healthy glowing skin with a pinched cheek. It's a no makeup makeup look."
She said that she created a slightly rosy hue on the cheeks, with foundation creating smooth skin.
Completing the look was creamy brown shadow under the eyes and just a slick of gloss on the lips.
Macdonald was not the only designer to plump for natural beauty, as Matthew Williamson said that his makeup look was "very minimal and very natural", adding: "The skin is very important."
Last week Ms Tilbury said that pale skin and wearing no blusher will be a big beauty trend next year, telling Grazia that minimal makeup will be big.
