Katie Holmes ditches the makeup while in NYC
Katie Holmes may inspire women to reach for their cleanser and display their natural beauty.
The actress has been spotted sporting the au naturale look whilst out and about in New York City, Celebuzz reports.
Holmes, who often appears glamorous when at red-carpet events with her husband Tom Cruise, was dressed in an over-sized grey jumper and jeans.
The star had her hair tied back and looked fresh-faced as she carried out chores in the city.
A number of other celebrities have recently opted to go without makeup during their downtime, including singer Kelly Clarkson, actress Anne Hathaway and performer Jessica Simpson.
Hathaway may have kept her beauty regime low-key in a bid to avoid being recognised as she walked her dog alongside her boyfriend Adam Schulman in Brooklyn.
The One Day star hid her long locks under a beanie hat and wore a casual black ensemble for the stroll.
