Kyra Sedgwick's natural eye shadow style
The awards season is truly in full swing, with a host of celebrities sashaying down the red carpet in their finest gowns and beautiful natural makeup.
Last night, it was actress Kyra Sedgwick's turn to wow the crowds, as she showcased a beautiful Thierry Mugler dress, complemented by a stunning smoky natural eye shadow look.
The LA Times reported that Kyra's makeup artist, Robin Siegel, was "inspired" to create a dramatic effect by the rock-star waves that hair stylist Chris McMillan turned her tresses into.
To achieve the actress's cosmetic style, Siegel used foundation all over her face and added a sculpting natural blusher, to highlight her high cheekbones.
For Kyra's peepers, silver natural eye shadow and lashings of eye liner and mascara gave her a dramatic, wide-eyed appearance.
The actress, who was nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series category for her role in The Closer, just missed out on an award – but she certainly got the style vote.
