Ladies can tone down 80s look with more natural beauty products
Makeup artists are going crazy for 80s retro this season, but many ladies can opt for more natural beauty products to tone down the trend.
AOL's Ruby Room said that that 80s style is back with a vengeance, but there are lots of options for people who do not want to adopt the full dramatic look.
A big part of the look is bold lips, with the source suggesting hot pink lipstick is used. However, this can be toned down by keeping eye makeup to a minimum and so creating more natural beauty.
Purple is the favourite hue of the season, ranging from bold and dark to light and pastel shades. This means that a more subtle shade can be adopted on the eyes, with the source saying these go better with blue or green eyes anyway.
Black lips are one of the most dramatic looks for the season, which Ruby Room admitted is "not the easiest trend to wear".
It suggested wearing dark brown or purple for a more natural look or a classic red lipstick, which is still in fashion.
Before starting to apply any makeup, ladies should ensure they have a good base. The Daily Telegraph recently stated that more people are using mineral foundation as sales of the natural beauty product have boomed.
