Lady Gaga poses makeup free
Lady Gaga opted for natural skin care over her usual dramatic makeup in a new photoshoot for Harper's Bazaar magazine.
The 25-year-old appeared on the front cover of the publication without a hint of foundation, eyeshadow or the multi-coloured wigs she often poses in.
She spoke openly about her life outside of the costumes and theatrical beauty products, describing how she is happy regardless of her appearance.
"Whether I'm wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I'm always the same person inside," Gaga stated.
She added that her fresh-faced look on the magazine cover is not something she views as natural.
"I think that artifice is the new reality. It's more about just being honest and sincere," the singer claimed.
Gaga is perhaps as well known for her experimental appearance as for her music, which includes the hit songs Bad Romance, Born This Way, Edge of Glory and Just Dance.
