Lagerfeld's Chanel show could inspire icy makeup
Fans of natural makeup could be inspired by a catwalk show from one of the world's most revered designers, who opted to use the Arctic for inspiration.
Karl Lagerfeld's Chanel show was lauded by Allure and the beauty magazine stated that the designer put models in head-to-toe fur and used eye makeup which was inspired by polar bears.
"The beauty look here is often tame, so it's exciting to see the models in a slightly destroyed bouffant and crazy eye makeup," it stated.
Lagerfeld used part of an actual glacier to craft his runway and Peter Philips, who designed the makeup for the show, added that he wanted to created scruffy eye makeup on the models.
The designer recently embraced natural beauty in his latest collection for Chanel which takes its influence from the countryside.
