'Less is more' when applying natural makeup
With so many great natural makeup products to choose from, it can be difficult to know when to stop – and as striking as Christina Aguilera's Lady Marmalade video looked, it's not really street-style friendly!
Writing for the Express Tribune, Komal Shoeb advised ladies that less is certainly more when it comes to applying natural cosmetics.
The key to makeup that really stands out is making the most of your features, including your beautiful complexion, Ms Shoeb said.
Moisturising is a major part of this, she advised, especially in certain types of weather, as well as choosing the right natural foundation for your skin type.
"Find the right shade of foundation that perfectly blends with your skin tone," Ms Shoeb said. "If you are dark, embrace a bit of gold in your foundation and if you are fair then ivory would work best for you."
Last week, celebrity makeup artist and Pearl Drops spokeswoman Ariane Poole said that red and nude natural lipstick shades are hot this festive season.
