Looking forward: SS 2011 brings colour to natural makeup
While we're wrapping up against the grey, damp autumn elements, the Spring/Summer 2011 preview shows are underway - and it looks like we'll see a return to playful and fun colouring in our natural makeup trends.
Oonagh Brennan, fashion director at Company, said that next year is set to return to more light-hearted styling after the sophistication of the Autumn/Winter 2010 collections.
Brennan said that natural makeup fans will be working their look around biker jackets, such as Burberry's key pieces adorned with studs and chains, and adding accessories with '70s, retro-psychedelic touches.
She added: "I generally got a feeling of colour massively from the trends; there was hardly any black [in the shows] at all which was really refreshing."
The Daily Mirror's Madeline Crisp said earlier this week that people who want to brighten up their autumn makeup look should plump for matte violet natural eye shadow to make a dramatic impact.
