Makeup tips from celebrity beauty expert Scott Barnes
Ladies looking to achieve flawless beauty this festive season may want to take note of one expert's tips.
In an interview with becomegorgeous.com, makeup artist Scott Barnes described the best way to apply concealer, foundation and blusher.
A creamy concealer was recommended as the ideal base for disguising dark spots and crows feet, with women advised to blend the product with their finger.
Next, Mr Barnes suggested applying foundation with a brush in a "sweeping outward motion", with the specialist encouraging individuals to place some of the makeup on their collarbone for a more natural effect.
Finally, ladies were urged to use a blush brush to add a layer of rouge to the apples of the cheeks, with the powder best applied in circular motions.
Mr Barnes recently released his book About Face - Amazing Transformations Using the Secrets of the Top Celebrity Makeup Artist, which features images of Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian.
