Men prefer natural beauty
Fans of natural skin care are more attractive to men than women who cake themselves in makeup and fake lashes, according to one group of researchers.
The Daily Telegraph reported on the study which showed that thick layers of foundation and concealer are a major turn-off for many men who find fakeness unattractive.
"For many guys, makeup can act as a barrier between them and their partner, and it seems they simply prefer their women to go natural. But it's interesting to see that the majority of men were reluctant to admit this to their partner," it stated.
The major problem men have with women who wear too much makeup is that they think they are caking the products on to try and disguise bad complexions.
Debates about plus-size models are still raging in the world of natural beauty and more magazines are using larger girls who are representative of 'real' women, according to the Daily Mail.
